A website that brings in customers is not about fancy effects. It is about giving people what they need to decide, quickly and clearly. These eight things make the difference.
1. A clear headline about what you do
Within a few seconds, a visitor should know what you offer and where you are. "Home bakery in Mexico, Pampanga, with custom cakes for every celebration" works. "Welcome to our website" does not.
2. Your services or products, in plain words
List what you offer the way a customer would describe it. Group similar items so people can scan quickly and find what they came for.
3. Prices, or at least a starting price
Many customers will not message to ask about price. If they cannot see one, they assume it is too high and move on. A starting price, such as "Haircuts from ₱150," keeps them reading.
4. Photos of your real work
Clear photos of your shop, your products, or your finished work build trust faster than any sentence. Take them in daylight on a steady phone.
5. Location, map, and hours
Your full address, a nearby landmark, a map, and your opening days and hours. This is often the first thing people look for, so make it easy to find.
6. One-tap ways to reach you
Tap to call, tap to message, and a short inquiry form. Place them where people can see them on a phone without scrolling far.
7. Answers to the questions people always ask
Look through your chats and write down the questions you answer every day. Payment options, delivery, booking rules, and parking are good places to start. Every answer on your website is one less conversation for you.
8. A web address in your name
A web address like yourbusiness.com looks professional and is easy to print on flyers, receipts, and signage. Make sure it is registered in your name, not your designer's.
What you can skip
Long company histories, animations on every section, and pages with nothing on them. Clear wins over clever every time.
