The name came before the bakeshop did. A sunflower turning to face the light, a rainbow after the rain, and the simple belief that one small lovely thing can change the shape of somebody's whole day.
That is what a cake really is. Nobody needs one. People order them because somebody turned a year older, or passed the exam, or made it through a hard week and deserves something pretty on the table.
So the menu here is short on purpose, and every order is baked, piped and packed by hand. If your cake arrives looking exactly the way you hoped, that is the whole job done.
